Looking for a dedicated, flexible, and energetic speech language pathology assistant to complete a variety of tasks such as activities designed to develop pre-language and language skills, oral-motor control for speech production, vocalization, and use of assistive technology devices for communication; works with students who have identified speech and language disorders as well as other disabilities; performs related duties as assigned.  


Qualifications:  Associate Degree from in speech-language pathology or communication disorders, or graduation from a speech language pathology assistant program;  or evidence of successful completion of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, as well as evidence of successful completion of the following Speech-Language Assisting curriculum courses developed by the N.C. Department of Community Colleges; current registration as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) issued by the North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology Board; prior SLPA experience in educational or clinical settings is preferred. 

Looking for an energetic speech language pathologist to join our busy practice. 


The SLP will work with the full range of human communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.  The opportunity is a part-time and PRN position.


The specific roles and responsibilities will be expected: 

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders;

  • Treat speech, language communication, and swallowing disorders; 

  • Provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals; 

  • Work collaboratively with professionals from many other disciplines.
